National Year of Reading at Ley Top - the story begins

We are excited to share that Ley Top are celebrating 2026 as the Year of Reading! Recently, our Alpine Achievers enjoyed a special visit from Mr. Morrison, who inspired the children to develop a love for reading. Together, they explored a much-loved story, The Gruffalo. Each child took on a different character and brought the story to life through role play. Over the coming weeks, Mr. Morrison will return to help us create our very own class story adventure. The children will be reading, acting out scenes, and even adding a soundtrack to Grandad￿s Camper. We look forward to sharing their creative journey with you!
