Our Nursery
Ley Top Nursery is a place where curiosity is celebrated, friendships blossom and every child is valued as a unique individual. We provide a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy and excited to learn each day.
We know that starting Nursery is a big step, and we work closely with families to make sure every child settles in with confidence. In Nursery, relationships come first. Our experienced, well qualified and caring staff take time to get to know each child, their interests, their personality and what makes them sparkle.
Our Ley Top values ‘Ready, Respectful, Responsible’ begin in nursery where we focus on

Early years environment
Our fantastic classroom is a purpose built space for mixed age children aged 3-5. Children are taught by two qualified teachers who are supported by highly experienced support staff. A balance of daily teacher-led learning is enhanced by a fantastic range of learning spaces where children have the opportunity to consolidate their knowledge and skills through the medium of play.
Learning through Play
We believe play is powerful. Through carefully planned activities and continuous provision, children explore, investigate and develop key skills in meaningful ways. Our early years classroom is carefully designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and independence. With engaging indoor and outdoor spaces, children can explore, investigate and learn through meaningful play every day. Every day is full of discovery!
Working in Partnership with Parents
We value strong home-school relationships. We share regular updates about your child’s learning and celebrate their achievements together. Parents are always welcome to speak with staff and attend our regular stay-and-play sessions.
